Location & Access

Sun Peaks Lodge is a ski-in/ski-out property placed directly in Sun Peaks Resort, steps from the chairlifts and the highest golf course in British Columbia. The lodge sits at the center of the alpine village, with shops, restaurants, and the lift-access mountain bike park within walking distance. Guests can reach Kamloops Airport via shuttle services, and the McGillivray Lake hiking trails are minutes away.

Rooms & Studios

Guest rooms at Sunpeaks Lodge come with walk-in showers, flat-screen TVs, and refrigerators, while studios in the adjacent building add a kitchenette. Standard rooms have seating areas and phones, and all units feature windows that can be opened. The elevator is currently unavailable for studio rooms, but ski equipment can be stored free in the storage room with a tuning bench and boot dryer.

Dining

The Steakhouse Restaurant and Bar, open only in winter, serves steak and seafood with an extensive wine list. A second winter-only dining option is the Fondue Stube, offering a Swiss-style fondue experience. Both restaurants focus on quality ingredients and local wines, consistent with the lodge's award from the World Ski Awards for Excellence in Ski Tourism.

Wellness & Relaxation

The wellness area at Sun Peaks Lodge BC includes a hot tub, sauna, and steam room, open daily from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. After a day on the slopes, guests can use the steam room and sauna to unwind, though the hot tub is small (fits about 5 people) and located in the parkade. The ski storage room also has boot dryers, so gear is ready for the next morning.

Year-Round Activities & Family Amenities

McSporties Ski & Board Rental operates on site, offering equipment hire, ski pass sales, and repair services for winter sports. In summer, guests use the same location to access hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, and horseback riding. The lodge provides family rooms and kids' meals at the restaurant, with the Sun Peaks Golf Course just a 2-minute walk away.
